Light of Esperanza is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Seattle, whose mission is to help improve the living conditions of the deeply impoverished women and children in rural Honduras. We teach entrepreneurial skills and lay the ground work for self-sufficient cooperative businesses, offer academic scholarships for promising students, implement educational projects for the village youth, and coordinate community health service projects. Light of Esperanza is currently working in 10 villages in the State of Copan, located in the mountains of Western Honduras in coordination with the non-profit organization, Esperanzas Unidas.

Light of Esperanza es una 501(c)3 organización sin fines de lucro con su sede en Seattle, que tiene como misión ayudar a mejorar las condiciones de vida de las mujeres y los niños de Honduras. Ensenamos habilidades empresariales y empezamos cooperativas autosuficientes, ofrecemos becas a jovenes para continuar sus estudios, proyectos educativos para los jóvenes, y proyectos de servicio de salud en la comunidad. En el momento, Light of Esperanza esta colaborando para apoyar la organización sin fines de lucro de Honduras, Esperanzas Unidas.
